Our Beliefs
We are a non-denominational Christian church. Our belief and practices adhere to the Five Solas of the Reformation ("solas", meaning,"alones"). These are the five principles that are foundational to Salvation..

Sola Scriptura (God's Word alone)
Maintains that the Bible is the highest source of authority in a Christian's life.
Sola fide (Faith Alone)
Affirms that being made right with God-comes only through faith in Jesus.
Sola gratia (Grace Alone)
States sinners are saved as an unearned gift of God's grace, "not as a result of works, so that no one may boast" (Eph 2:8-9).
Sola Christo (Christ Alone)
Emphasizes the exclusivity of Jesus' role in salvation: "No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6).
Soli Deo gloria (to the glory of God Alone)
Meaning our sole purpose as Christians is the glory of God, "that God may be all in all" (1 Cor 15:28).
We hold the body of teachings in the New Testament as the basis for our faith, practices and discipline. Biblical Scripture is the embodiment of our belief and church activities.
Our mission at FBC is to be a caring and ministering fellowship that is focused on fulfilling the Great Commission. Our focus is preaching, witnessing, training, and living spirit-filled, Christ-like lives. Our teaching and preaching are in a verse-by-verse explanatory manner.
