God's Design - Biblical Marriage
*God created & established the marriage covenant for His Glory. (Genesis 1:27, 31; 2:21-24
*It is His covenant; we enter HIS covenant of marriage. (Proverbs 2:17)
*The marriage covenant is the Lord's holy which He loves. (Malachi 2:11); Israel has profaned it by intermarrying.
*The first Biblical reason for the covenant of marriage: It is the greatest picture of Christ & His Bride, the church - (Ephesians 5:32)
*The second Biblical reason for the covenant of marriage: Godly offspring; both physical & spiritual. (Malachi 2:15, 11-17)
